Victoria Novak is a full-time artist, working as an illustrator, interior designer and realist painter. Strong of 20 years of experience, she collaborates with agencies and businesses as well as a solo artist, crafting works of art for private customers globally.

  Victoria began her artistic career as an interior designer in Russia, where she graduated from the Academy of Arts. She then moved to Europe, earning a Master Degree in Interior and Living Design from Domus Academy in Milan. While in Rome, she collaborated for several years with the archistar Massimiliano Fuksas, creating product design and architectural works for major clients around the world.

  As an illustrator, Victoria's most recognized work is certainly "Animals as Humans", a series where animal subjects assume human traits. Works from this collection have been requested by well-known brands such as "ampm" and "Food Fur Life".

  Growing in popularity over Social Media, in 2018 she was elected by Adobe Systems to become an Adobe Partner. As part of the "Start with Stock" Program, she supported the launch of Adobe Stock, attending Adobe’s events in New York and Adobe Max conference in Los Angele.

  As a painter, she experiments with Old Masters’ painting technique for more than a decade, applying it to depict new and contemporary creations. Victoria has been featured in “International Artist” magazine, earned the cover of “American Art Collector” and was included in numerous exhibitions in Italy, Malta and the United States. Her paintings can be found in private collections in Russia, Malta, Italy, Switzerland and the United States.

A Multi-Layered Painting Process  


Currently, a new series of paintings is in progress, beginning with the underpainting layer of one piece. This work draws inspiration from the timeless art of the Middle Ages. The process involves a multi-layer painting technique, rooted in the tradition of the Old Masters. Each layer contributes to the evolution of the piece, adding depth and richness as the work progresses. This careful and deliberate method aims to infuse the canvas with life, reflecting the enduring beauty and detail of a bygone era. 


 

  The Next Step in the Comic Project  


Shifting from the drawing phase to the coloring process, after dedicating countless hours to the drawing phase, the comic now spans over 200 pages. This stage is where the story truly comes to life, as color adds depth, mood, and emotion to each scene. It is an exciting phase that brings together years of hard work, with anticipation building for the final result.


 

  The Puglia Retreat: Restoring a Timeless Masseria  


In southeastern Italy's Puglia region, an old masseria is being transformed into a unique holiday accommodation. Traditionally a fortified farmhouse, the masseria features a central high-walled courtyard and a complex of buildings that once ensured security and community. The renovation preserves its historic charm while adding modern comforts, offering visitors an authentic yet luxurious experience in one of Italy’s most scenic areas.
